Course Description

AM - Category 3 (4 hours industry-related): This class reviews types of boilers, their safe operation, repair procedures and troubleshooting methods for commonly used commercial and residential boilers.

PM - Category 2 (4 hours industry-related electrical): This course covers NEC 2008 and NFPA 70E safety guidelines for working around live electrical circuits and hazards.  It includes discussion on application of NEC guidelines, Grounding and Bonding, Lockout/Tagout Procedures, Hazardous Work Areas, Arc Flash and Arc Blast protection, Personal Protection Equipment and a common sense understanding of the dangers of electrical faults.

Courses that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements may be cancelled.
