Commercial Skills Assessment and Certification

CITC offers National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) assessments for COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL and GAS & OIL PIPELINE workers. CITC is the only training facility in Washington authorized to offer the assessments. Employers may send experienced craft workers through the assessment which validates existing knowledge and provides a "Training Prescription" for skill areas where the worker needs additional training. For commercial crafts CITC offers Journeyman Upgrade Specialized Training (J.U.S.T.) courses based on the CONTREN Learning Series training manuals from the NCCER.
