Course Description

Class prepares students to take Washington State Specialty Electricians Administrator or Journeyman Exam (06A). Covers how to use Code book, read WAC rules, basic electrical theory requirements. Primary focus on Washington RCW, WACs and national Electrical Code. A simulated test is given at the end of the class to help prepare for the State test. RCW/WAC Rules and Regulations included in cost of course.

Prepares students to take the 06A exam.

Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements may be cancelled.

Note: Once an on-line enrollment is complete, the CITC office will email a confirmation letter to the email address provided during checkout. The letter will be sent approximately one week before the class and contain all the pertinent course information, including class location and driving directions.

• Class Time: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
• Required Books: 2008 NEC Code Book; Ferm's Fast Finder
• Required Materials: Non-programmable, non-printing calculator, two #2 pencils, scratch paper.

Due to changes in sales tax requirements in the state of Washington, CITC will no longer be providing books for continuing education courses.  Check with your local bookstore or electrical supply store.
