Due to recent changes in the Washington Administrative Code (WAC) concerning electrical continuing education courses, Industrial First Aid/AHA CPR is now only approved for 4 hours of industry-related credit. CITC has combined Industrial First Aid/AHA CPR with Electrical Safety to continue to provide an 8-hour industry-related course.
Category 3 (4 hours Industry Related): Class provides a two-year first aid card and two-year rescuer-CPR card. Participants are also given a certificate of completion for 4 electrical continuing education units. Class size is limited so check your card and your employees' cards and register today!
PM - Category 3 (4 hours Industry-Related): This course covers NEC 2008 and NFPA 70E safety guidelines for working around live electrical circuits and hazards. It includes discussion on application of NEC guidelines, Grounding and Bonding, Lockout/Tagout Procedures, Hazardous Work Areas, Arc Flash and Arc Blast protection, Personal Protection Equipment and a common sense understanding of the dangers of electrical faults.
Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment requirements may be cancelled.
Note: Once on-line enrollments are completed, the CITC office will email a confirmation letter to the email address provided during checkout. The letter will provide all the pertinent course information, including class location and driving directions.
