A: After selecting the course(s) in which you'd like to enroll in the State where you're licensed, enter your credit card and billing information (Visa or MasterCard only). A: The courses are comprised of 100-200 multiple choice questions based on the current code, code amendments, or other topics related to the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC fields.
A: Some courses provide all the content needed. However, for code classes and classes on state rules you will need either:
A: From the date of entering the authorization code, you have one year to complete the course.
A: You must answer all the questions and receive a score of 70% or better to get credit and receive a certificate. You can attempt to pass a course as many times as necessary to receive a passing score.
A: CITC will send confirmation to the appropriate state department within 1-5 business days after completion of a course. Depending on the State, CITC sends course completions via the Internet, email, or fax.
