Plumbing Second Year

    • First Quarter Begins September 12, 2011
    Commitment: 13 Weeks/72 Hours

    Students will learn about more advanced plumbing math; reading commercial drawings; hangers, supports, structural penetrations and fire stopping; installing and testing of DWV piping.

    Second Quarter Begins January 3, 2012
    Commitment: 12 Weeks/72 Hours

    Students will continue learning about installing and testing DWV piping; installing roof, floor and area drains; types of valves; installing and testing water supply piping; related 2009 Plumbing Code and WA Amendments; review green building practices.

    Third Quarter Begins March 26, 2012
    Commitment: 12 Weeks/72 Hours

    Students will learn about installing fixtures, valves and faucets; installing water heaters; fuel gas systems; servicing fixtures, valves and faucets; basic electricity for plumbing; related 2009 Plumbing Code and WA Amendments.

    • Tuition: $922.00 each quarter

      • NCCER Plumbing Level Two.
      • 2006 Uniform Plumbing Code book is required in all plumbing classes.
