Water Pipe Sizing Online - Washington

Using the 2006 Uniform Plumbing Code, this 4-hour, 114-question course will teach the steps to properly size water piping. The plumber will gain a working knowledge of the current Water Supply Fixture Units, and using the tables in Chapter 6 of the UPC the plumber will correctly apply the pipe size to ensure adequate water supply to a building.

What Does Washington Require?

Residential & Journeyman Plumbers: Washington requires the following continuing education each renewal cycle:

  • 16 hours every 2 year renewal period
  • 8 hours of Plumbing Code Update 
  • 4 hours of Industry-Related Electrical
  • 4 additional hours Code, Industry Related Electrical or Industry-Related Plumbing

Plumber Trainees: Washington requires the following continuing education for each one-year renewal cycle:

  • 8 hours of Plumbing Code Update 

or

  • 4 hours of Industry-Related Electrical
  • 4 additional hours Code, Industry Related Electrical or Industry-Related Plumbing
